About Us


Based in Ballito, Durban Hire Standards is an event planning and décor hiring company. At Hire Standards you decide how involved you would like us to be in your function. Our services range from full function coordination from start to finish, to hiring of items from our wide range of décor for DIY brides and party planners.


We understand that each client and has different requirements and we will therefore offer you unique ideas and suggestions to help you create the best possible event, whilst working within your budget.


Due to the large number of items in our décor range we do not send out a comprehensive Pricelist, however please feel free to email us with a list of your décor requirements and we will come back to you with a quotation.


There are three different quotation options:


Option 1 – Hire of décor items only. You will be responsible for both collection

and return of these items to our premises in Ballito.


Option 2 – Hire of décor items and Transportation Fee. We will deliver and

collect the décor items to and from your function venue.


Option 3 – Hire of décor items, Transportation and Setup/Breakdown Fees.

We will deliver and collect, as well as Setup

and Breakdown the hired décor items.
